General Chat Box/Forum Rules and Guidelines
Use of the OCF LiveChat Room is for registered members (in good standing) only.

The OCF message board is a moderated community. We welcome new members and visitors and lurkers, alike (some restrictions may apply)!

Barring down time, registered members have 99% access to all authorized areas of the site.

Like the forum area, the chat room is for positive community support and interactions, to be used for healthy entertainment purposes only. OCF is neither a professional, nor medical advice forum, and neither it, the chatbox, nor any other areas of this site and may not be used or construed as such. And no comments on this site should be used to replace professional medical advice in any way.

Also, all chat room exchanges that are deemed (by administration) to be crude, vulgar, abusive, libelous, threatening, unsafe, defamatory, obscene, profane, hateful, harassing, invasive (of privacy), stalkerish or in violation of any law will be deleted from the boards and may lead to loss of forum-account use or privileges. Please exercise Ethical Personal Judgment when utilizing any communication boards.

Members may alert the board moderators of board concerns or abuse, by way of PM (private message) Please be sure to provide the exact username, board name, and the URL of the page, to only one moderator, by email/PM only (and not publicly on the boards) to report board concerns and abuses.

Information Sharing Guidelines
Please feel free to name specific (hair, skin, clothing, medical, food related only) products or services that you loved (or hated) and share your honest opinions about them. Illegal, pornographic or explicit posts are prohibited and will be removed. Anyone who attempts to post illegal, pornographic or explicit subject matter or links will be permanently banned from the site.

Promotion of other websites, boards or forums is generally not permitted on this site.

Protect Your Personal Information
Never post your age, real name, home address, telephone number or email information, on the public message boards. Similarly, do not ask for personal ID information from others. For safety protocol reasons, such posts will be removed and may also result in permanent suspension of board privileges without notice. The Internet is a public domain and information on the Internet may be accessible for years by anyone using a search engine.

This forum is for the purpose of general information sharing only. Posts that request anyone to submit personal information or off-board contact information may be removed and may lead to banning. Also, Usernames with sexual implication/content will be deleted without notice.

Please Think before You Post
We welcome and encourage healthy debate, but personal attacks are not permitted, period.

Abusive communications aimed at sexual orientation, gender, race, color, religious views, national origin, or disability -- will be deleted and posting privileges of the offending poster will be permanently revoked. If you disagree with someone’s post, state your opinion, politely and move forward. It is incredibly impolite to attempt to use board anonymity to vent harass or attack others. And such actions are NOT permitted here. Remember, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

General OCF Chat Room Online Etiquette
1. Please use polite language and grammar.

2. Please post only polite subject matter (pornographic, explicit, obscene or vulgar posts,
links, language, graphics or behavior or solicitation is prohibited). Posts should be clean.
Any and all posts that attempt to solicit or offer explicit or X-rated GIFs, JPEGs or other
graphic files will be deleted.

3. Please don’t post rudely. Typing in all capital letters (LIKE THIS) is impolite
and is difficult to read. Although, for some individuals with disabilities, typing in all caps (or
in all lower case) may be a necessity. If it is necessary for you to use all caps be sure to
inform others so they understand.

Loss of posting privileges
This is a private, family friendly website. Any privileges or membership may be revoked without notice.
