| Menstrual Cycle Product Usage and Safety -----------------------------------------------------------
Menses Products to Avoid Physicians and gynecologists warn that during the menstrual cycle, teens and women should avoid using tampons, mooncups, c-fold, keeper, diva and other insertable menses trapper devices (which prevent the natural menstruation flow from exiting the body) as they increase the risk of serious infections such as toxic shock syndrome (TSS), etc.
Recommended Menses Products During each menstrual cycle, most physicians and gynecologists recommend the use of feminine pads/napkins as they allow the period flow to exit the body properly and do not cause infections such as toxic shock syndrome.
